After multiple rounds of soak tests, Motorola has finally started rolling outAndroid 5.0 Lollipop for both first and second-generation Moto G smartphones in the Indian market. The updates are now being released in a phased manner and will reach your phone over the coming days. The company is directly pushing Android 5.0.2 to the phones.
As the Lollipop update will be available over-the-air (OTA), you will automatically get a notification on your phone about the update, however you can also manually look for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > Software update.
HTC starts rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop for One (M8) Developer & Unlocked versions
HTC has announced that it has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the developer and unlocked editions of the One (M8) smartphone in the United States. The update is live over-the-air (OTA) and will reach all One (M8) dev & unlocked edition users in the coming days.
This is first variant of any Sense UI smartphone from HTC to get the Android 5.0 update and more Sense version smartphones will be getting the update in the coming days. Markets, where the unlocked version of One (M8) is sold, are expected to be next in line to receive the update, followed by countries with carrier-locked units. The Lollipop update for One (M7) will also follow soon, but there is no word on the exact roll-out schedule.

In the first month of this year, HTC aims to update the HTC One M8 and the HTC One M7 with the Android 5.0 Lollipop, says GSMArena. In February, the update will come to some other HTC smartphones such as HTC One E8, the polycarbonate edition of HTC One M8, the newly released HTC Desire Eye and HTC One M8 Eye and also the HTC Butterfly 2.
In March, the Taiwanese tech giant will be make the 5.0 Lollipop update available to HTC One Max, HTC One M7 Dual SIM edition, HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 820, HTC One Mini 2, HTC One E8 Chinese edition and HTC One M8 Eye Chinese edition. And the last set of HTC smartphones that are said to receive the crucial software update in third-fourth month of the year include the HTC One Mini 2, HTC Desire 610, HTC Desire 820S, HTC Desire 510 and lastly, the HTC One Mini.
GSMArena claims that HTC aims to finish the Lollipop update for its smartphones by the end of April. In May, the Taiwanese smartphone will be rolling out a new edition of its proprietary Sense UI. The new Sense UI version will be launched along with HTC's next flagship that is rumoured as the HTC One M9. Later, it will be made available to other high-end handsets too.
